Where does the reward money come from?
StonkFun documents a 1% or 3% transfer tax for newer reward launches, selected at launch. A transfer tax is a cost on token transfers, not a return on your holding. Pool trading fees are a separate cost.
Earlier reward launches use a different model: 85% of a 4% pool trading fee. Check the specific token and version before comparing BUTT with another token. Distribution amounts depend on activity, conversion and the eligible balances in that round.

Sammy’s thesis is that activity around a TAO-paired meme could draw more TAO liquidity to Solana. That is an interesting question to investigate, separate from checking a completed payout.
Pairing alone does not establish a price effect. Market cap is not new money entering a pool; bridging can use existing inventory; and buying and selling both affect the market. A native TAO price increase caused by BUTT has not been established here.
